I just got the time available to be able to do this, as I said earlier having already having the T3 & T4 stones, so I did the same thing, and the book is smooth for me too. Finally, after over a week of not being able to play, I can finally play again, huzzah!

How are you able to do that, as I am having the same problem and I want to be able to play the pack again, and I have the t4 stone too.

Hey phoenix, any word on the progress about the HWM Book lag?

As thephoenixlodge has said, nimO, the lag only occurs with the HQM quest book. I only have 5 fields irrigated, and have had them that way for a while. I only didn't see the posts that phoenix where it was said that it deals with that mod only. As I've been having the problem since 0.6.1 and...

Well do you know how to fix that then, because your pack is unplayable due to it for me, and I really want to continue it.

I am not sure what causes it, but the Nether seems to always mess with a bunch of random things. Just quit and reload and it should fix things. It happens in every modpack that I have played on 1.7 or later.

I disabled everything associated with WAILA & even the tictooltips and the HQM Book is still unusable at all, freezing still after the intro page.

I already have the 1.2.3 tictooltips installed. I did that the day that was posted.

I should also mention, the problems also started to happen when the pack got updated to 0.6.2.

I was on Java 7 when the problems started, they got worse a day or two ago, I just got an update notification last night, but I had just updated the Java and I also had a system update that I did along with it in the last hour. Same problems still happening.

I honestly don't remember atm where to check the perm gen, but ram is 3.5 gig. I haven't had to fiddle with settings in a while, maybe I need a new Java Parameter? I did just update to the latest java today, tried both fastcraft & optifine and nothing has helped.

I am loving the pack overall, but the problem I posted earlier about the whole thing freezing up when I open the page in the HQM that dealt with seeds I can't even get to. I can open up the book, click to get past the intro and then everything just gets stuck. I want to continue playing this...

Right now, I just finished up getting the Rutile Seeds, so it unlocks the next stone/set of seeds. However, everytime I have that page opened, my whole thing basically freezes. I can read the different quest titles to see that I need Osmium Seeds, Cobalt Seeds, etc... but I can't click into...

I've downloaded the new pack, been able to get on, tad laggy but I have yet to tweak with stuff to speed it up. My main problem is my NEI has absolutely no items in it... no matter what I do it just shows up as 0/0 pages... Any help is greatly appreciated.
