    Lol, ok back on topic: There's a issue where the Dungeon Spawn Weights aren't even being set, so it's making things go weird, I'll have it fixed for the last 1.6.4 update (1.5.1c) hopefully in time for the mod pack locks.

    I mostly use the vanilla spawning system (only Cinders and Lobbers use my own fire/lava based system, also Demon Mobs when spawning from Nether Portal blocks). You can individually change the spawn weight, etc for each mob via the config and all that does it pass on the values to the vanilla...

    Yeah 1.4.11c should fix everything, you'll likely need to generate a new config though and then tweak it as needed. On my server plenty of vanilla mobs are showing up with Control Vanilla Mobs enabled just some are limited to certain biomes such as no Skeletons or Zombies in the desert as Crypt...

    Ahh, which version of Lycanites Mobs is it? 1.4.9 d and below to around 1.8.x has a massive issue where hostile mobs don't seem to despawn at time. It has been compeltely fixed as of 1.4.10+. I recommend 1.4.11c now as it's pretty stable and covers a few other issues.

    Hmm odd, they should respect light levels, but you can disable them being going to the config folder and then opening LycanitesMobs/PlainsMobs.cfg, from there set their Spawn Weight to 0.
