I've had a great experience with OVH, especially the fast support. I would go with OVH.

Don't want to start the discussion again, but a) get an Intel if possible. They are faster. b) get Ubuntu as an OS if possible. It is also faster.

Do chmod +x (filename) on both the script and the jar. Execute script like so ./scriptname.sh
