Thermal Dynamics covers are graphically glitching out

Do you have a dedicated GPU or are you on a laptop? The CPU overheating shouldn't cause artifacting unless you're using integrated graphics. Even so, If you're on a desktop, the CPU shouldn't be running that hot, especially if it's an AMD.

    How to update FTB Infinity

You should be able to select your desired version from the menu shown above. Ensure your saves are backed-up as always before loading them.

Do you have optifine installed? That has been known to cause rendering issues with CoFH and other mods in the past.

What's new in modded minecraft today?

As someone who has previously done 3rd party mod support textures (including GregTech), that image kills me.

    Recent Events Discussion (RED) Thread

There's been talk of this "API" for years, I wouldn't hold my breath on it coming any time soon. I was always under the impression that it's actually the obfuscation that's the biggest pain with updating everything, but I'm not a modder so I really don't know. From what I understand - with...

    Recent Events Discussion (RED) Thread

This is and has always been one of the biggest problems for mods. There's a constant push to update to the latest MC version, and by the time we get to the point where everything's ported, stable, and modpacks start getting released, there's already a newer MC version out. It's just a constant...

Those are excellent! I hope you don't mind, I've just added them to the 1.6 Github Repo; if there's any changes you want to make, just let me know and I'll update them, or you could submit a pull request :)

The patcher should be back online soon, allowing users to only download textures for the mods that they need, which would on the most part negate the need for custom packs, and ensure users always get the most up to date files.

For the Tinker's tools that I did, I got the part textured and positioned, and then recoloured and saved each one by one, which took ages, and is why I never got round to completing them. In other news, This is a screenshot of all the blocks in the Chisel mod: Anyone fancy giving it a go? :P

^ Exactly this, I used to scroll down that huge list of mods and sigh, and rather than be excited at an update I'd be thinking cr*p, more textures to make. However, now that I have built a new PC which can run FTB monster at 200+ fps, so I might get back into the texturing scene, but only...

    32x [32x] JohnSmith Technician's Remix

This. At least for me, SSP Monster is virtually unplayable on many occasions. My four year old laptop just cannot keep up - the 2.27GHz i5 (first gen) maxes out most of the time, resulting in huge lag spikes. With the RAM maxed out and an SSD installed, there's no more parts I can (easily)...

It did have a check all option - in the menu.

    32x [32x] JohnSmith Technician's Remix

Indeed, compared to Ultimate (and the old Mindcrack pack), the Monster pack is totally different - lots of new mods, some removed, and some existing mods have changed completely (ie. Thaumcraft, IC2, Thermal Expansion). Also, there was the change from texture sheets to individual textures back...

In that respect, the github is a better soloution - however it makes things slightly harder for the end user to download what they need. If keeping the GitHub system is popular, I'll see if Jim would be able to host the Patcher on his webserver.
