I did continue to get experience despite not "correcting" it, and it upgraded as well. I read somewhere on reddit that this was a glitch and that once the pickaxe leveled up, the message would disappear. The message did not disappear after the pickaxe leveled up though.

I added a diamond modifier on my iron pickaxe today in order to increase the mining level. When I did that, the pickaxe was saying that it's data is incorrect and that I should put it in a crafting grid to correct that. Once I've done that, the mining level went back down despite the diamond...

With the amount of bug reports you will be getting, FTB would be better off using a bug tracker instead of a measly forum thread. Something like http://www.mantisbt.org/ or http://trac.edgewall.org/

Hopefully if they go down that path, they make it so that server owners can easily enable it for their serves without any additional "enabling" required by the users on their clients. As in - it's active, but the world generation doesn't take effect unless specifically turned on.

Any chance for the server download as well? Thanks. Right now when trying to download the server files through the launcher, I simply get redirected to the CreeperRepo website.
