OS X is Unix-based, not Linux based:-) I find Linux very user-friendly, but I'm weird.

FWIW, Minecraft runs great with Java 8 on Linux. The Mac-using folks on my server can run with Java 8, but there are some weird visual artifacts. I wonder if running Linux in a VM on a Mac would have sufficient performance.

Has anyone been able to make a Lua EEPROM? I crafted it with a manual, but it's still just a normal EEPROM. This means that I can't get a computer to run:-(

Ah-ha! I checked it out, and my server was somehow missing Crafting.zs

I can guarantee that doesn't work with an Empty Canister (4447:1001) surrounded by four obsidian in a cross or an X, or surrounded by eight obsidian. I've made no alterations to the pack.

So…is there any way to get Galacticraft fuel? None of the ways folks have posted about actually work (except maybe hoping to get the right dimlet, which is a low-return kinda thing). The methane synthesizer requires resources from the asteroid belt to make, and because of ztones we don't get...

Has anyone figured out how to make oil and fuel for Galacticraft? The recipe for the filled canister just makes an empty canister. Here we are, with two rockets on the launch pad just sitting and waiting…

I'm personally fine with Java 8; I've been running it on all my systems for ages now. But that's just me. My vote is to go ahead with it, and provide instructions on how to disable it for those who'd prefer to stay behind. Java 8's been out for over a year, after all.

They gummed up when I tried to feed power straight into universal cables or machines, but seem to work okay when power is fed into energy pipes.

So, it looks like the temporal pick needs more than a minute's worth of power in order to transmute an ore into a temporal nugget. Seems pretty reliable now.

So, does anyone know which ores can produce temporal nuggets? Following the online tutorials, I have a pickaxe with memory, I've turned it temporal, and I've right-clicked on nether quartz, iron, gold, copper and redstone—and been unsuccessful. Nothing happens at all. I've alos tried...

How were you able to make it work? I've tried shift-right clicking with chalk, and I've tried a 3x3 of chalk symbols, and nothing works. Edit: Ah-ha! Gotta hit 'v' to adjust the size of the chalk as I'm placing it. That's…unobvious. Posting so others don't have the same problem that I had.

I'm unable to use 'pastebin get' in ComputerCraft. I've played around with the whitelist in the config, but so far to no avail. Has anyone else experienced this, and even better found a fix?
