Well, hello there fellow FTBers! I just thought it would be good to introduce myself, even though I've already done some posting. So yeah. I'm Chicknboy, I've played Minecraft for probably close to 2 years now, just got into modded Minecraft about 6 months back, but haven't gone back to vanilla...

Portal guns are the only things that I've seen that can destroy warded blocks, but that's obviously not in magic world. I haven't played much with the warding focus, but is it possible to use your own wand to un-ward? If not, maybe you can disarm him while he has his wand out, and steal it? Or...

I guess I was wrong. I just tested in a creative world, and even though I was in the AoE range, it didn't affect me. Neat. That could allow you to get a quick escape if you get hit really hard.

Yeah, I know that. But, with the spell he created, wouldn't he just get caught in the entangle/disarm/blind spell? Doesn't that just kind of ruin the point? Unless he had a dispel spell that got rid of the effects, but in my experience, dispel doesn't seem to work. Unless I just don't use it right.

What is the point to that spell? Every time you cast it then take damage, you entangle, blind, and disarm yourself? Wouldn't this kind of backfire, or am I not understanding the Cont. damage effect right? And as for reducing mana cost, if I understand Rhyssia's mana chart thing correctly, then...
