I'm still working on getting max territory. :(

Yeah, I got it yesterday (twice actually, I think), while trying to get a max territory serum.

I'm doing some testing in my 1.4.7 setup, and it's definitely possible to do this in 1.4.7, so it should be easier in the newer versions. Swarmers appear to stack, I set up one automated alveary with 3 swarmers full of jelly and as of ~12 hours later I already have ~30 princesses. I don't know...

I was just coming to post pretty much the same thing. In my experience you usually get the species serum within the first 5 bees, so this probably will work.

The only bee that I know of that is biome restricted for specialty items is the Austere, which requires a desert. Every other bee produces fine in any climate, provided it's not a hostile environment for the bee. (which you can easily get around with the extra bee machines).

It's actually my base, but the upper levels house my bee equipment. :) Here's an updated pic:

I think I need to go download BoP and check it out, it looks a lot better than EBXL. :o

Sometimes you just get unlucky with breeding, keep breeding them and you'll get it eventually. Make yourself some soul frames, that helps a lot. :)

The ones outlining the room are zinc blocks, the ones around the boiler are aluminum. I have a bunch of bees producing zinc for me because I thought it looked so cool. :)

Decided to post an update, and I just realized how slowly I work.. haha.

Never, EVER, leave a mining laser in your hotbar when not using it, especially when you're going to click on your indexer that has a ton of bees in it. The fps lag was epic that night. :p

Mindcrack with gregtech on easymode.. I like some of the stuff he adds, but hardmode is too grindy for my taste. :p

Oooh, thaumic bees is added to mindcrack, I didn't even see that. Great. :D
