never mind I figured it out. all I had to do was move the launcher out of the folder I had been keeping it in for ages? I don't understand why that made a difference but it did.

this morning i tried to load up Horizons day breaker and it didn't work if you could help me that would be great.
it is also doing this to all the modpacks
