    Success! Thanks so much for the quick answer. Glad it was so simple. Nah, it was accepting the items all right. On impact with a sparkle and a drop in mana. But good thinking! :)

    I restarted, destroyed/replaced both blocks, and updated botania. I'll try a reinstall, thanks.

    I'm playing Regrowth, minecraft version 1.7.1, with Pam's Harvestcraft added, because I'm all about farming. I have a mana pool with an alchemy catalyst below. Full of mana. It's always worked fine, but I took a trip a hundred chunks away, and when I came back, trying to use catalyst recipes...
