Watchful11, there's news that Marc_IRL has posted a tweet stating that the Mojang EULA forbids modders to require permissions on public mods. https://twitter.com/Marc_IRL/status/426473661793435648 http://redd.it/1w2v2i . What is FTB going to do now, are you still going to require permission or...

    Upcoming Mod Packs

Slowpoke and/or anyone else from the modpack team: Is the update to 1.6 going to also allow for any and all versions of minecraft? Up until now, FTB has used the legacy update system for minecraft versions, and 1.6 is not hosted on these anymore, it is hosted on a system which contains all...

assets.minecraft.net is only meant for legacy versions of minecraft, so adding support for Mojang's amazon servers is not only vital for my old modpack, it is also required to bring FTB to MC 1.6+. Please consult the devs of the launcher for adding support for the amazon servers.

Watchful, I am sad to hear that the launcher does not support versions for pre-1.2. However, even though previous jars aren't avaliable via assets.minecraft.net, I would like to inform you that all of the versions are hosted on Mojang's official amazon server (EX...

Yes, I am indeed serious about making a 1.0.0 pack, I have already begun creation of the pack, so testing older versions would be awesome of you. As for version numbers, I am going to do versions of the pack without Forge, as some people say it could cause issues with this certain old mod but...

Hey, I have two questions about modpacks. 1. I know that the instMods folder contains files to be injected into the minecraft.jar, in what order are these files injected? My best guess is alphabetical. 2. What minecraft versions do you support? I am thinking of making a 1.0.0 modpack to make an...

    Cubic Chunks! Cubic Chunks!

Hello members of the FTB Forums, I am one of the few testers of the Cubic Chunks Pre-Alpha Proof of Concept mod by Barteks2x and I made the second video linked in this topic by WatcherInTheShadows. I'd like to talk to you a little bit about Cubic Chunks. I've been reading up on all the previous...

    MCPC+ |ForgeEssentials|BukkitForge(Bukkit mods{kind of})

A few of us believe it to be a leak of PermGen space in MCPC+. However, when I set the PermGen Space to 256 MB, it only delays the crashes. See http://www.mcportcentral.co.za/index.php?topic=5517.0 for my topic on the MCPC+ forums (which the developers never seem to visit).

    MCPC+ |ForgeEssentials|BukkitForge(Bukkit mods{kind of})

Well, it is a random crash that affects many users using various 1.5.2 FTB packs and is easily resolved by switching to normal forge. There is not much information I can give on this because the crash leaves no logs.

    MCPC+ |ForgeEssentials|BukkitForge(Bukkit mods{kind of})

Sadly md-5 left a critical bug in MCPC+ 1.5.2 which causes it to randomly crash constantly and generate no error log.

Huh, weird. I guess you do learn something every day.

    Yogscraft crash

Try removing ChickenChunks. I always have had issues with it, and it seems to be causing this issue.
