Problem Updating Direwolf20

Hi,

We rented a Minecraft FTB Direwolf20 server and yersterday, there was an updating of Direwolf20.
We can't join our server after the update.
My friend updated the server but it can't reach again.
How can we play right now?
Our server are save ? Because we can join the server but the FTB mods don't appear !

Hi,

Maybe i have the same problem with my server hosted localy (with hamachi)
Yesterday (direwolf20 V4) no problem and after updating server and client to 5.0.1, I can't reach my own server ...
I saved my server's files just before updating but not my client's files -_-

When I load previous server, my friends can join the serveur (they didnt update).
I can see the server online in the game but I cannot connect (because of # version).
And when i stop this server and load the new one, i can't reach it.

Anyone can tell me why ?

Re,

I just test something: the server is reachable with a world generated with the 5.0.1 version.

I'll make few test to copy my old world to the new world.

I'd like to see an answer to this as well. im hesitant on updating unless we can keep the same world.

copy the world from your server to a client with V5, open the client and start a Singleplayer and select your world map.
Just let it run for abit (he needs to change some ID's). After you get your normal screen and can move around. Quit the singleplayer

Copy the world folder back to the server and start the server.

!Important: Make sure before attempting anything with your worlds that you have a backup!

I have the same problem.

Upgrade the server to v 5.0.1 from the download.php page.

Then the client cant connect.

Tried downloading my 300MB world and opening in single player, but it just sits on 'Building Terrain' and the client is using 0% cpu with no memory fluctuations.

Any ideas?

I want to see some consolelogs, could be 2 things optifine and or twilightforest setting on the client

Old version of optifine, get the newest

Hi,

I solved the problem, without optifine installed and sit the twilight forest ID to XXXXX (throwing my slipper on the keyboard )
hope it's helpful.

Without optifine works like a charm. I am using the latest version ultra B6, with optifine it crashes, without it works... oh well this will have to do.

Edit: Optifine now works when i go to the server, but notwhen i want to play SSP. Weird, doesnt matter i never play SSP anyways.

I tried instaling optifine and taking it out but my server i host localy wont let me or my friends connect. It is comeing uo with the reply "conection refused"

You have to use optifine preview version C3
