Updated for Monster 1.0.6. Power Converters was added in 1.0.6 and has different IDs than what I had, patch: MidasGoldMonster.105.106.zip
Do you have a FTB 1.4.7 Ultimate world you would like to bring up to date? (Or Mindcrack or 1.4.7 Direwolf)
I have a kit to help you do it.
Start with a fresh Monster 1.0.6 pack.
If you wish to use GregTech, remove TConstrct_MC and TMechWorks_mc from the pack.
Fetch and add:
AdvancedMachines IC2 experimental
Barrels
Bibliowoods extrabiomesxl
chargepads ic2 experimental
ExtrabiomesXL
gregtechmod
immibis-core, infinitubes, and tubestuff
advancedsolarpanels ic2 experimental
gravisuite ic2 experimental
soulshards 2 (optional, really)
translocator
Prep the world:
Remove power lines to all gregtech machines.
Empty all of your ender chests.
Remove all liquids from tanks and put them into storage items.
Put your golems into storage.
Move the world:
Make a backup of you world. Seriously, make a zip file out of it.
COPY your world to the Monster/minecraft/save folder.
Delete your EnderStorage folder (chunk resets if you don't)
Delete ic2_map.cfg (game aborts if you don't.)
Download the following:

Unzip UltimateMonster_config into Monster/minecraft
Unzip MidasGold03 and MidasGold147toMonster106.zip in places you can find.
Run mIDasGold.jar.
Load MidasGold147toMonster106.txt as the id mapping.
"Add savegame" your to-be Monster world as the world to convert.
Click "Start" and wait. It may complain about a few player's data files, these are your NEI extra data files and can be ignored.
Start your Monster game!
Ignore the id mapping warnings, we just messed around with them, a lot.
(Repeat as necessary, you will want to check everything.)
Congratulations, your world is kinda ok...
Thaumcraft wands were destroyed and a few other items as well. I need to review the conversion and try to save a few more things.
RedPower2 tubes, micro blocks, and machines are mostly now stone blocks.
Thermal Expansion machines are all turned around.
Thermal Expansion ducts and conduits are now stone. (Couldn't salvage blocks, but items in hand can be saved.)
Liquids in tanks are all gone.
GregTech changed a lot of recipes, your AE autocrafting needs a lot of attention.
SoulShard 1 items have been removed.
I have not done any conversions yet for worlds that used BiomesOPlenty or Highlands.
