new mindcrack pack released?

i was watching etho and nebris the other day and that pack looked like something i could use to fuel my minecraft playing since its getting boring.
i havent played ftb since the glory days of ultimate so i have no idea whats been released and what havent since then.
i looked at the mindcrack pack and couldnt find a overhaul of it or anything. just that its up to date. and etho mentioned that its not released yet (been a couple of days) so i was wondering if the new mindcrack pack is released onto the launcher or is it using the old one which was around in the ultimate glory days?

The only public pack with GT is the third party TPPI pack. No packs are planned from the FTB Team to include GT.

Not sure about TPPI myself I assume it is a private pack in which you need a code to get in the selection. You can add GregTech yourself, but unfortunately TechSupport will be limited if you do.

i found TPPI, it is a private pack, i hope it goes public soon, i still play on Ultimate servers because everything after is just too easy. you can litarrly make a mass fab with a macerator, compressor and a generator.

So, there's one mod (IC2) that has an item that is easy to make. Does that make the whole mod pack pointless? I don't even use IC2 these days, although I am tempted to make an induction furnace just for fast smelting on demand. How easy it is to make a mass fab really doesn't figure at all for me. If IC2 is easy and boring, why not try something else? Mekanism. Rotarycraft. Ars Magica. Mariculture. Modded Minecraft can be more than just a sprint-to-the-mass-fab-then-get-bored treadmill.

The problem i find with the packs, ( other then ulimate/ unhinged) is there is no real end game. I read that rotory craft v16 adds a new fusion reactor that needs 1500 blocks to create, hopefully this can be my GT replacement. it just sucks that some servers disable rotorycraft in monster & horizon because of a server crashing bug. i hope the next update that add v16 fixes it

This is about the new "war" themed pack, not the old (greg)tech pack.

Im really exited for this modpack, do you know if they are going to be wanting to release it soon? Cause i cant wait any longer It looks so good! In my opinion, its the best FTB so far
