Maintenance on Log In Servers, can't login

Kris tweeted about an hour ago that they're doing maintenance. You will have difficulty logging in.
Follow the Mojang team on twitter for updates. (Their twitter handles are linked on the vanilla launcher)

as of now log in seems to be fixed

and now the only thing up is skins, and i wanted to finish my castle.

Isn't it awesome that the game we all legitimately own ...... oh nevermind, they dont care.

If this was Diablo3, people would be threatening lawsuits by now. But since it's Mojang, they get a pass....

well the difference is that we can play single player right now where as d3 doesnt have single player offline at all.

Their may be intermittent issues with servers as people attempt to access their accounts, which can cause read time out errors.
