CC PYRAMID RUN
Hi there!
I'm working already for a while on highly randomized game based on command computers (ComputerCraft)
and have just submitted the pack to Jampacked II
Here is the first (and so far only) YouTube video:
About the game:
You have to complete/survive 5 levels, each located in a pyramid. Each level is larger and more difficult than the previous.
Each level consists of a room grid, starting with 3x3 up to 5x5. There are atm about 25 different room types.
In each level you have to loot all chests to craft a gold block, that opens the exit door (toss it in the hopper).
Beside single player mode I plan a two player competitive mode as well.
Spectators will be able to watch your success or failure from above.

Intro story:
You visit a friend in Egypt who is an archaeologist, as you
learn about the smashing news: The earth will be destroyed
by meteors within the next hours. You both watch doubting
the TV news as in the distance the pyramids start to glow.
First only faintly, then they start to pulsate and glow
brighter and brighter...
You feel yourself carried away into a strange light:
Beware humans, your world is about to be annihilated!
We shall give a few selected individuals, those who have
searched shelter near our ancient temples a chance to survive.
We shall challenge you to the Pyramid Run! Survive it as one
of the top 5 and we shall grant you a new existence
in a far far world for your own.
Loose and you shall vanish as the rest of your species.

- The generated levels are highly randomized using command computers.
- After your first run you need to generate new pyramids (button on the right).
- All 82 rooms of the 5 pyramids will be deleted and recreated.
- This takes about 175,000 command block commands using ComputerCraft and will take about 5-10 min.
(no clone command available in MC1.7.10)
- To inform you about the status a small monitor shows the progress.
- Try to avoid lag spices during the process as this might crash the generation.
Status v1.0.1 (WIP)
Bugfixes:
1) riddle room: chests are now always blocked at the beginning
2) leaves room: leaves room spawns now its lower chest again
3) wooden sword is now given correctly when respawning before pyramid
Gameplay:
1) hoppers are unbreakable now
2) added one bonus gold nugget to level 2
Cosmetics:
1) removed computer names in all messages
2) added some messages and prettied them up incl. correct color code
3) riddle room: changed whisper to tellraw
Known issues:
1) in rare cases the stone room blocks the adjacent piston room
2) leaves room may be too difficult?
To be done before 1.0.1:
1) Sometimes the timer stops when respawning. Have to fix this, because it is really annoying.

Next steps:
- v1.0.1 as 3rd party pack after bugfixing
- done: finalize map (spawn area, teleporters, hide computers,...)
for a beta release
- done: top
105 statistics on a monitor and added top time per level - done: stablize generation
- partly: make mob spawning more level dependant
- more rooms and level dependant room details (e.g., additional holes in the floor for level 5?)
- multi player to allow spectators
Ideas for later:
- two player mode (first step using different pyramids, later same levels)
- at some remote period: include user made rooms (describe room coding, impement syntax checker, use room data from disk drive)

Permissions:
- FTB permission spreadsheet
- Permission for SquidUtils + SquidAPI, by coolsquid
- This pack contains Fastcraft, by Player, enabled by default.
Fastcraft enhances Minecraft with increased performance.
Bug reports being made directly to Mod Authors should state Fastcraft is enabled.
- This pack contains SquidUtils, by coolsquid.
Bug reports should be submitted first to the Mod Pack Author.
I will keep this first post up to date.
