About the server
The goal is to provide a lag and stress free Feed The Best experience. This means great machine setups and automation, which sadly means a certain strain on server resources. To keep lag in check some plugins are disabled (see below) and the number of active players will need to be limited.
Server rules
Normal rules of life apply.
No griefing
Consensual pvp only. If there are any problems, I will have to turn it off again.
Mature play (18+). I cannot verify age, so behavior is the judge.

Currently a 5min file system mirror and 30 min duplicity backup.
Chunk loading situation?
Everyone may use one chunkloader (from ChickenChunks mod) at default range without upkeep. Any extra chunk loading has to be done with world anchors (from Railcraft). I ask you not to automatically refill the anchors with ender pearls, so that if a person leaves for more than a week, the chunks will no longer be loaded.
Is there any griefing protection?
Extensive logs to verify grief reports. Griefing is not tolerated.
The mods offer various grief protection methods: force fields (removed their touch damage/forcicium requirement), warded blocks from Thaumcraft, and safes.
No shiny from scrap?
A large extruder+recycler setup is nice and all, but it also skips a large part of the game, because you are given all these items. I think it may be fun actually having to spend the time to acquire them. Who knows, maybe someone on the server made a farm for one item and is missing something else.
Forestry hard?
I felt it was a little too easy to get biomass. Forestry hard basically configures how much biomass is produced. At the same time, bees produces alot of good things, so they need more time to do so.
How about quarries?
Quarries are definitely allowed. From a balance perspective, they are in line with turtles and they are expensive enough to make for what extra setup convenience they provide.
Size is what matters here. I would like to limit them to only load 9 chunks as well, so they are in line with other chunk loaders/world anchors. Nine chunks minus some processing/chest space is still a huge quarry.
What about mystcraft?
Mystcraft is not currently part of the Mindcrack pack and it's not running on the server. I am not very familiar with the mod, but if we were to add it, mining would need to be in line with the overworld. I am also not a fan of teleports (linking books would do that). Loads/unloads a bunch of chunks each time, which can't be the best for the server.
No Train workbench?
Sadly TrainCraft mod is a little buggy and not balanced with the other mods. It allows converting 3 iron into 8 steel, which then could be turned back into 7 iron using Thaumcraft, ... You get the idea. If someone wants to make something besides steel that requires it, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me. I will trade or set up a trade station.
