[Fixed] Problem with launcher downloading "Horizons"

Kaspersky (my antivirus) needed to have very specific options changed for it to work.

ANYONE using kaspersky all you need to do is go to "Network Activity" and find "Java(tm) Platform SE 7 U45", right click on it. Should go to something like "application rules" just make sure all the boxes are checked so its not scanned/blocked/anything!

This fixed it for me and hopefully it will fix it for anyone experiencing this problem.


I have tried all of the following with no luck.
See the thing is every other modpack downloads just fine except horizons.

The only other information i can give is the fact it finishes downloading the "pack" but starts spiting out these errors when its downloading what looks like sound files.

It makes no sense then how every other pack besides the new 1.6 ones download just fine..... can we PLEASE get a manual download. Obviously this new system is broke as hell.

EDIT: would love to hear from any of the tech support admins.

that's basically what mine says too, and stops at assets. I've even done the troubleshoot guide 3 times already
