Hey,

First post of many here, no doubt.. :(

The following is a crash report from a player on my server, who discovered this dark iron ore block and can no longer log in without crashing. It appears to be related to "Glint Renderer" of some sort, and I've seen a few similar crashes on pastebin but can't find where they've been posted. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Code:

If he has this in his inventory it could be crashing him, you could wipe his inventory and reset his location by deleting his player.dat in the world file or you could edit it and remove the item, or use a plugin to take it out of his inventory. Also make sure he doesn't have a texture pack on, in the past I have had players crash because if some items and removing their texture pack stopped the crashing.

The inventory fix will only be a temporary one, but I've done that and I'll ask him to change his pack. I'll keep you updated.

I've got the exact same problem. Running Direwolf20 pack. Whenever a player comes by a dark iron ore block it crashes the client.
http://pastebin.com/ph0AFRLj

In the factorization config:

# Set to false to disable dark iron ore generation
B:generateDarkIronOre=false

still it seem to spawn.

Anyone got a solution for this? I aint sure how to disable the dark iron properly.

I have had this problem too with dark iron. But it seems it only crashes me when it is placed as a block
