Mega Satan is the final boss of BoI:R. Beating him is a huge thing because he is the absolute last boss in the game. There's literally nothing happens after it. It's the only boss fight that ends with a straight cutscene, without a trapdoor, hole, trophy, or chest. You fight all seven deadly sins during the fight (all in Super form, although two come back as normal), along with the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. You need to have beaten:
* It Lives!
* Isaac (Six times)
* Satan (Six times)
* ??? (That's his name, for those wondering)
* The Lamb
And have killed two angels/found Dad's Key in one run.
It ends with the birth of Azazel. It is the end of the game.
I was able to beat him today. Mostly by luck. Here's the run:
Entry into fight. Didn't take screenshots before this, as I didn't expect to make it this far. I literally got Dad's Key as a drop from one of the chests in the Dark Room, so I was able to do this fight.
Starts off with me in an empty room with a Pentagram and my familiars.
Spider dude (one of my familiars) touches the Pentagram.
You can't see it in a still image, but things are shaking like crazy. The Pentagram also turned red when Spidy touched it.
Look who it is.
He starts with a pretty standard tear attack. Easy-peasy.
He starts whacking the ground with his hands. Dead bird goes after the head while I pull out my Chariot card and whale on the right hand.
Hand whacks start sending rocks flying.
Satan goes away, and Famine and Pestilence appear.
(He's always watching....)
War and Death, the best of friends. The always seem show up together.
Once they die, Satan's back at it
