Alvearies and redpower tubes?

Does anyone know if there are issues with redpower tubes and alvearies? Basically, I have buildcraft pipes to pull everything out when the queen dies, and send the items to my processing station, bounce the princess back in, and put the drones into a chest/barrel. I then have another pipe that is set to send a redstone signal when it needs a drone, which makes a redpower transposer fire once, giving me exactly 1 drone back into the alveary.

The buildcraft pipes always pull the stuff out perfectly, but for some reason the transposer refuses to send the drone into the alveary. It'll pull it out of the chest, but not send it in. Wanna know the most irritating thing about it? I have 2 alvearies with the EXACT same setup about 10 blocks away, and they work perfectly.

So here's my question: is there some sort of issue with certain sides of alvearies not taking drones or something? That was the only thing I could think of that was different, the one that isn't working has the pipes on a different side. I've tried everything I can think of, but it just refuses to send the drone into it.

It doesn't. DoctorOr is not a helpful person, so sorry he had to be the first to reply. I cannot think of any sort of pre-existing issue that would be causing an issue with your system, so your best bet is to either take some screenshots, or to test with some different setups. Try transposing directly into the system, perhaps. A screenshot would really help. Thank you.

You're using a transposer to attempt to put a drone in. Transposer is a redpower machine.

Figured it out, the alveary accepts drones from north and south but not east and west. Very strange, not sure if it's a bug or what. Guess I'll have to route my tubes around the side.

..I thought I had checked sending into another side, apparently I hadn't. Oh well, problem solved. Back to exploiting bees!

And if anyone's interested in my setup, here's pics, it works really well if you can get the drone into the alveary.. lol.

Green and yellow are set to princess only, black is drones and white is items.

Autoarchic iron gate pulses items out when there's no queen/princess, sends a redstone signal when there's a princess but no drone, which sends a signal to the transposer, which sends out one drone. Eventually I'm going to set up something to pull the drones out to be melted for dna, prolly switch to a chest instead of a barrel for that.
(and obviously the tube can connect directly to the side there if it's on the north/south side)
