A mod that adds random tweaks and items that are used on the Burpcraft server.

Due to popular demand, we have decided to open source, and release our BurpTech mod used on the
Burpcraft server.

What can I make?
  • Portable Crafting Bench (with NEI integration)
  • Spider Webs
  • Colorable Bags (Rucksack)
  • Enderchest Bag (Ender Rucksack)
  • Cooked Eggs
  • Nether Coal
  • Nether Fuel
What else is here?
  • Mobs keep moving, even when they are a bit away (un-nerfing the stand still bug)
  • Enderman only pick flowers.
  • Animals will eat food that is laying around on the ground.
  • Nether Mobs will only spawn on Nether blocks.
  • Slimes will only spawn on stone/grass/dirt.
  • Villagers will follow players with diamonds or emeralds in there hands.
  • Players can illuminate fully grown cocoa plants by applying glowstone to them.
  • Compress IC2 Stone Dust into Stone.
  • Use the IC2 Canning Machine Enrichment mode for Biomass.
  • Use Creosote in the IC2 Semi-Fluid Generator.
But I only want...
All BurpTech options are configurable to turn on/off. Open up the BurpTech.cfg and turn things on and off.

Have you considered hosting your mod on CurseForge? I'm attempting to build my (private, me-only) pack on the new launcher, and your mod is one of the few that I've encountered thus far that isn't on the curse platform.

The part when it says mobs standing still is a bug... It isn't ;)
I see where you're coming from, however.

Wasn't there an update recently?

Also about the mobs standing still thing... it depends on your point of view. The only purpose it serves is to nerf mob farms, literally. That's it. It doesn't offer any noticable performance benefits or anything else. Seeing as how mob farms are still quite possible (and even have more efficient means of operation now with the various mob attractants and repellants)? Reversing the change only makes sense.

Huh well drat. It had some really useful tweaks. I wonder if I could ask another author to pick up some of them, like the immobile mob un-nerf... and built-in support for NEI in portable crafting solutions *grumble*
