If new generation isn't a problem (you plan to stay within the current borders of the world file to be imported), then I believe Mystcraft will work. Just create the age, then replace the new Myscraft world files with the world you are importing.
I have looked a bit for a change-log for the couple updates that have occurred and I have not found one. It would be really nice if there is one so I know what exactly is changing.
