Everyone! I figured out just the *almost* perfect spot! Album here: http://imgur.com/a/A0psT Next to a village, in front of a Stone Mountain, near a redwood forest, and already found a place with marble. Near another desert and also near plains. Taiga 1 minute walking away. Pretty decent!

Hi there. Just wondering, the GregTech mod (included in the Mindcrack pack) just simply makes recipes harder to make? I think that's kinda stupid, but in the other hand makes them more realistic.

I always thought any place that has enough light will always produce EU w/ solar panels :S I decided to go in with the Mindcrack pack, as I really enjoy watching Etho's vids, and that way I can make pretty much what he does, and learn that way :D

Hi there. I have always thought that thaumcraft was in FTB, but when I search either on NEI or the creative menu, I can't find Vis shards, wand of apprentice, well, all the items that make part of thaumcraft. Isn't it included?

The thing is that I want to have a base, with main IC2 mods, extractor, macerator, etc, and then start trying out new mods. That's precisely why i created this thread, so people could tell me advantages of certain biomes.
