Setting up a new server on an Ubuntu box, want to know whether it is better to run openJDK or Java? any benefit from one or the other?

Is there any equivalent of WorldGuard that works with any the FTB packs or forge? I just need something that offers the ability to protect the spawn but still allow doors and chests etc to be opened by non OP players Cheers

Right, so I just added nogui to my java server startup.. CPU ussage in task manager was usually 65 - 70% even when no one was on, now even when people are on it tops out at 30%?! that is madness! not complaining mind you, any reason this makes such a difference?
