I have a windows 7 pc with 8GB of ram, but i still only get at maximum 15-20 fps in the direwolf20 and mindcrack pack. Any other modpack is 60fps easy. any suggestions?

Whenever I find flowing water in the tech world, mindcrack, or ftb lite on locally hosted worlds, flowing lava and water doesnt update correctly.
