Are you on the most recent map?

I'm playing the latest map and there seems to be no villagers anywhere. I've explored everywhere I can think of in creative but there's none. Do they turn up if you get a high enough rep?

You could be right. I thought the map had just changed with the version but it could be spawning the nether randomly in a meteor.

I'm on 1.3.1 now. I found a dungeon with some glowstone in the latest map. Still much easier to get it from the nether portal area. Edit: Ok I think I figured out the issue. I was playing on a map titled 1.3.3. I downloaded version 1.3.4 of the pack and I got a new map titled 1.3.1. This one...

Which bunker? The stone one or other metal ones? I'll have to go back in creative and check before my next run. Incidentally, whcih mode is best to play on? I've been using /hqm enable at the start but it doesn't seem to work with sync.

Ok I found the problem. The quest states that the glowstone is in a bunker but it's actually near the nether portal. Died a lot before I found this.

The only part I'm finding hard is that if i die once it's game over because it spawns me back out in the middle of nowhere, usually at night, with no equipment. Which quest gives the sync stuff? I don't see anything resembling it.

Should you not, at least, spawn back at your base as opposed to in the middle of the wasteland?

Am I missing some easy way to get a bed and set your spawn? Silk worms are disabled so the only way to get wool seems to be by killing spiders for string. It's pretty annoying because if you die you respawn outside the base for some reason.

I figured it out. Regular water is obtained my bashing mashed leaves with the blacksmiths hammer and that can be put into barrels. The other waters cannot. Pretty tough modpack. Not really designed for people new to the mods used. Is the pack still being updated? I was considering updating some...

What am i supposed to do with the water storage module? It just spawns a load of ice in the 5x5 area but when I break it nothing happens. Can I get it into buckets? Seems to be no way of getting water into buckets otherwise. Also, I've been told combining the bottles of slightly clean water...

All added so far. I'm currently in the process of updating for 1.7 pack so if you have any suggestions for mods let me know either here or on the subreddit.
