    FTB Horizons: Daybreaker Discussion

I went with an enderquarry in a sold gold block RFTools dimension (63k RF/tick cost) getting unpacked to ingots in a RFTools crafter and feeding into a tier 3 condenser to make my EMC. ;)

FPS fluctuations are entirely due to the client computer's hardware and software, not the server, so Opis won't help there. Opis is good for finding server lag which manifests as block lag or slow GUIs—though those can also be caused by network congestion at either end. Slow FPS will usually be...

Jotato's Quantum Flux Battlesuit is the strongest armor in the pack, reducing all damage to zero so long as it's complete and charged. Use an RF Entangler and carry a Quibit and it stays fully charged all the time, though—if you have the power. It has creative flight, speed boost, night vision...

Edit the file scripts/Crafting.zs (server side for multi-player or on the client for single player) and add the following two lines to the end: recipes.remove(<ExtraUtilities:curtains>); recipes.addShaped(<ExtraUtilities:curtains>*12...

You can upgrade them to factories and then they will accept piped inputs again. There's even a factory upgrade you can craft and hit the block to turn it into a factory without picking it up.

Another early-game and mid-game power option (in THIS pack ;)) is Quantum Flux—the Quantum Entropy Accelerator and Zero Point Extractor. (Special tip for the ZPE: it puts its max power out each and every side, so use them all.)

You can't craft the EEPROM with the Manual after the EEPROM has been inserted once in a computer. Craft a new EEPROM with the Manual before putting it in.

Had I seen that message at the time and the question about Java 1.8 in it—which I didn't—I probably wouldn't have thought twice about it or responded in any way. I'd never run Minecraft with Java 1.8 and had no inkling about all the problems it causes. I'm sure most readers of this thread, and...

If that's so, then I'd be happy to give up Matter Overdrive in order to have Minecraft and all the other mods working correctly in this pack. (Just sayin'.) Anyone else?

I've noticed that for myself (Mac user) and other players on the server I frequent (Windows), as well as YouTubers playing on Daybreaker, that as soon as Java 1.8 was required for the Daybreaker pack there have been more crashes and visual issues—like some item's icons in inventories having...

Aura Cascade - Feedback and discussion

I'm trying to work out how to use orange aura. From what I understand, making an orange source at one end of a group of nodes and an orange sink at the other end, any other aura in the nodes should move towards and collect in the node closest to the orange sink—due to the flow-inducing nature...

I'll second MCICraft. I've used it the DeVinci pack and it has so many unique features that no other mod has. It's not just another "better storage" or "ore doubling" type of mod—it's a whole new beastie. And that vid, while showing off a bunch of the cool features, doesn't even have some of...

If you are set to Recommended version, does the client update automatically and subsequently remove all Enhanced Inventory chests (and their contents) from any world you load? (Thankfully, I was set specifically to the 1.0.2 version that's on our server.) And know that even if running older...

Bug Activated Tesseracts create FPS lag.

Yeah, that's not the right place. :) Get out of the "mods" folder (go up one level) and go into the "config "folder instead. They are both in the same place. config/cofh/core/client.cfg If you aren't opening the "client.cfg" text file, you are in the wrong place. :)

Bug Activated Tesseracts create FPS lag.

Start TextEdit then drag the client.cfg file to its icon in the Dock. Your computer doesn't know that .cfg is just a text file, so you have to tell it what to use to open it. Drag-and-drop is the easiest way, though there are others more permanent solutions.
