You were using the Retro SSP pack right? Theres a mod in the pack that makes the world with no worldgen so that you can spawn properly in the FTB maps and so that people don't cheat and travel to unloaded chunks. If you insist on using that pack for normal map play, you have to remove a mod...

What mod makes it rain chickens for Christmas? It's starting to annoy me as I really need chickens and these ones disappear as soon as they reach the ground.

That was the error I ran into, just disable damage indicators. I think it's the damage indicators trying to give health stats to the dismemberment pieces but since they don't have health it crashes.

I love this mod-pack, I feel it has a perfect mix of RPG and tech mods to give it a long life-time.
