    [1.10.2] Age of Engineering

I'm on Age 5, and I'm just wondering... is there a way to automate the creation of basic capacitors? They are such a pain in the rear to make (for me).

    [1.10.2] Age of Engineering

I'm seeing a strange bug with the tape measure from AA. I'm seeing a wireframe, and not being able to adjust any of the color settings. This doesn't happen immediately, just overtime. Something I'm doing in the pack, breaks its functionality. The only workaround is to completely close down...

(DW20 1.10.2-1.10.0): CPU throttling for no reason

Specs; OS: Windows 7 x64 CPU: AMD FX 9590 GPU: NVIDIA GTX 750Ti RAM: 16GB DDR3 Launcher used: MultiMC RAM Allocated: 4GB I've been bashing my head against a wall, trying to figure out just what the heck is going on here. Now, I used to have a 4350, and everytime I launched the pack, it felt...

just how much performance does modded minecraft require?

I'm actually glad this post got necro'd. I got Optifine working in the 1.10.2 DW20 pack(a miracle, as Optifine and FTB packs didn't agree with eachother in 1.7.10 and in the past) and it has helped greatly. I have a pretty weak CPU (was beefy back in its day). Optifine has fixed a major...

Need help making my Reactor Room look good

That looks good. I like the chosen texture of the catwalks. Think I'm going to go for that. I did want a lighter feel for the room, yet the Factory blocks of Chisel aren't really helpful for that. Curious what block texture he used for the walls; guessing Diorite or Quartz.

Need help making my Reactor Room look good

I've played around with C&B. Amazing mod, and great for doing pretty much anything you can imagine. But this room... I have very little ideas. Sure, I could make the catwalk and railings out of C&B and that would look amazing (and maybe have support beams that sit at a 45* on the back wall)...

    Lag tip from Direwolf20

Yeah, it's a great tip. Curious what the other things are that cause chunk updates (and why occasionally a loaded chunk can even cause a cable to "break" to act like it's connected and working when it's not). Now if only you can do that to cut down on studdering, which is an issue all by itself.

Need help making my Reactor Room look good

Modpack: Direwolf20 1.10.2 (using 1.6.2) So this is probably a new one you guys get, but I need help making my Reactor Room look good (mainly the hallway to it, but I also want opinions on the block types I chose). The reactor (from Extreme Reactors) is 9x9x11, and is in the middle of the room...

Moving weapon out of Mechanical User to be repaired automatically?

I tried this setup. it works within 25% of the time. Left chest represents the Mechanical User, and the Right chest represents the Repairer. I've set both timers at 390 ticks (wanted a 20 second tick, yet it counts the 0 being a second before it pulses. My thinking was to have both of these...

Bug FTB Utilities 3.4.0: Claimed Chunks button doesn't work

Not sure why this issue was ignored, but I guess I didn't fill in my bug report in the right section (did it in the main FTB section). I hope this is the correct one. Using 3.4.0 (which comes with the 1.7.0 version of the Direwolf20 pack (1.10.2)), I'm unable to access my claimed chunks...

    Ender-IO Yeta Wrench Shift-L-Click doesn't work

If you're using 1.10.2, it really depends on the conduit type. If you're using a Item conduit where you should be using a Fluid conduit, it won't show the GUI. That's the only thing I've personally seen happen, since my base mainly uses EnderIO (to move power/items around).

What cool little thing have you discovered today?

I've re-learned how Exporters and Interfaces work (and the differences of the two).

Moving weapon out of Mechanical User to be repaired automatically?

I have a Mechanical User that's left clicking and attacking mobs. But I want to do is have some sort of timer (or a damage value set) that would pull out the weapon, throw it in the Item Repairer from Actually Additions, then put it back when at 0 damage. I've been thinking of something like...

Ask a simple question, get a simple answer

This actually seems possible. And yes, I used the Processing Pattern Encoder (it's really the only way). I've already tought the system how to make the pressure plates. Also, it is possible. As I said, I had a tree farm and was able to push Charcoal into it (from the bottom of an Alloy Smelter)...
