Are you sure you have 2000 Altar power? Are you sure have the 7x7 circle of ritual glyphs? Are you sure you are including a Taglock Kit bound to yourself, a Breath of the Goddess, a Potato, Sugar, and Brew of Love?

Keep in mind the ritual won't ALWAYS work. Only definite way to get rid of a curse is to right click a statue of the goddess.
i got it to work. the thing was the book that told me how to do it, didn't say what focus to use. but i got it to work from the withcery wiki
