Recently got a new laptop with windows 8 and have been having nothing but problems with it when trying to use feed the beast. I get stuck with this log error:

Any idea how to fix it and make FTB run like a charm with windows 8?

that's what I have, I have uninstalled and reinstalled serveral times. Does it matter if I have the offline version?

To setup a basis for us to help you, follow all the steps in the link in my signature for Basic Troubleshooting. Do all the steps.

If the errors continue to happen, follow the directions in the link for Log Files.

okay, like just run as admin when I launch it?[DOUBLEPOST=1375730956][/DOUBLEPOST]I have followed those before and I did everything as it said. STILL NO LUCK

di you try force updating the pack? or backing up any saves, deleting the pack, and redownloading it?

Are you trying to play ultimate? You need the 1.4.7 version of optifine.
