Turtles.. how to STOP program?

    I'm going nuts here, never used turtles, wrote a program.. now it's running and I don't know how to stop it. All the turtle guides talk about coding and stuff... I've been trying to figure this out for a good hour now.

    How do I stop the program so I can edit it again? Has to be something very stupid i'm missing since I can't find a single place that tells me how to do this.

    For some reason, neither CTRL+T nor CTRL+R or CTRL+S (for reboot and shutdown) have ever worked for me in the Ultimate Pack.
    Is that a known issue (considering the problems Ultimate has with overloaded hotkeys)?
    More importantly: is there a workaround?

    I've had issues with them, but more often than not they work for me.

    I was having that problem, but the trick is to hold down Ctrl+t for a second or two.
