Travelling mods?

I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations on mods that make you travel around?
Pretty much, I could just build a massive mine under my house, and never really need to go anywhere.
I have a third party FTB pack, and would love to include something that makes the players have to go places.

I have Flan and Archimedes installed, so there's lots of vehicular options available. I just want a reason to have to use them.

I know Thaumcraft does the node thing, which is the only reason I can see to ever leave my encampment.
Any other ideas?

BoP really only has the one ore for each type though, and the only thing it really does is open that portal, right?
Either way, I'd like a little more incentive. I've also thought of Millenaire, so that you have to travel to find new towns.

Please let the list go on and on! I had heard of some but not all of those. Ivorius looks awesome. This is exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for. Do you know any others like those? I had found roguelike and doomlike in my search, those are cool, and super hard if you add a few mob booster mods.

Because there is not point in mentioning TF to someone that is in the FTB forums.. TF has been here in almost every pack as long as like 2 years now? So yeah.. He surely knows about it..

As for the list going on and on..

Grimoire of Gaia 2, Prehistoric Mobs, Special Mobs and LearningMobs Mod for getting some more mobs and some difficult battles while you explore..

As for the exploration and random shit:

FandomCraft for a FUCK TON of ALL FUCKS GIVEN by EVERY FUCKING fan boy of gaming. Yes, the "Fucks" were needed, this mod is huge.
Mysts of Riov (vaeryn looks great for a base)
Abbysal Craft..

And for Vehicles, weapons and shit, in fuck ton quantities even greater than fandom craft, Flan's mod.. It even has Mechas. FREAKIN' MECHAS M8.

Then for some Gameplay mechanics I would recommend:

Invasion Mod, configured so you can't just stay in the same place without getting attacked all the time..
Smart Movement mod.. Because I just can't live without it anymore.
Mekanism, because im a mekanism fan boy and I will post about it everytime there is a chance, this is the best tech mod in existence.
ICBM, because what's a better way of choosing another place to live in than to blow the shit out of your old house with a red matter bomb? DISCLAIMER: ICBM is not responsible for you RIDING missiles, yes, RIDING FREAKIN MISSILES.

And last but no least, Mine Little Pony, friendship is crafting, if you want to be a friggin poni.
