Thaumcraft Creative Aura Nodes

I wanted to spawn a hungry node, because I couldn't find one for life after creating i dunno how many 100000 chunks. So i thought ok, imma gonna spawn creative aura nodes until I get a hungry one. However, all nodes that I spawned defaulted within a splitsecond to always the same node: same aspects and points, all fading.

Strangely enough, right after placing them I can tell from the looks that it actually spawns random nodes. So I went to SP creative world, downloaded the world from server and triued the same. And oddly the nodes were all random as they are intended to be.

So I wanted to ask if anyone knows what could be the issue here? All the config files are the same on server and on my client.

If this is the 1.7 version of TC, the nodes will eat each other up, giving you "similar" looking nodes, not sure why they would stay randomized in your SP world tho.
I'm not sure, but I don't think you can spawn in a hungry node in creative, but you may be able to put one in with MC edit?

One question though, why in the name of the FSM would you want one of those?

Nevermind seems to have been Azanor's sense of April Fools joke. Everything is back to how it is supposed to be.

@Cqtqrk because I want an easy to grow node that I can turn into an energized node for cV

Dude you have Technomancy, the Node fabricator can MAKE super large nodes with essentia and RF (Which might be a bit of a block on second thought...). You can either produce one with a lot of vitium and auram or you can feed a node essentia and grow it that way.

You may need a LOT of RF though... But it might be easier then hunting and then growing a hungry node bigger.

Exactly, it's easier to get a hungry node for now and make a MFR treefarm + autocraft crafting tables

That's IF you can find one and then cage it in obsidian, then create a feeding mechanism to feed it constantly.
Node fab may even be easier then using those random creative nodes.

That being said if you do find a hungry node close by it is a super quick way of getting a huge node.
