Thaumcraft 4 infusion crafting question

Hi!

I could test this myself, but it would be faster to just ask since someone else might have tested it before.

Can the essentia from the warded jars travel through blocks? I was thinking of hiding the jars behind a wall, or below the infusion altar, is this possible?

to answer my own question, no, not through blocks. but you can leave openings and the essentia will find it's ways unless it has to take long routes
