I'd describe this, but the screenshots can do it so much better than I could.

Screenshots:

Console log: http://pastebin.com/x9sJ54Un
Manually triggered crash log: http://pastebin.com/q5Zyy9Q5

Modpack: Private FTB staff pack
Java: Java 7 update 17
Minecraft version: 1.4.7

Optifine does not make a difference, nor does Advanced OpenGL.
I've tried reinstalling Java, reinstalling the pack and reinstalling FTB in a different directory with no spaces in the file path (C:\FTB, specifically).

I'm almost certain there's a simple solution, but I can't remember it.

Yes. I've tried messing around with anti-aliasing a bit, but it hasn't really helped.

Already tried changing the install path, mentioned that in the OP.

I've got a Nvidia GeForce GT 540M.

Are you forcing Anti-Aliasing through the Nvidia graphics application (I don't know what it's called)?

If not, check to see if it's being set. Also if you have Optifine, try disabling AA from there (if it's set).

As I said, I've tried messing with anti-aliasing, both through the Nvidia Control Panel and with Optifine.

It didn't work.

H'lo there !

I'm experiencing exactly the same issue, wanted to know if anything's been found as a solution. The game looks pretty ugly with that bug :/

EDIT : I've tried the original MC, and still had the bug. Found a solution here; the "let the application decide" option worked for me. Hope this can help ;)
