Hi,
I have Windows 7 64-bit, Java 64-bit and FTB. I have increased the maximum RAM setting to 4.0GB as I have 8 total. When I play there is no increase in RAM sizes in debug (F3). It stays at 990 and refuses to go higher as a result my level of usage it 800 and every 10-20 seconds hits 990 and cause a lag spike. I have Optifine set to using a second CPU core for a higher FPS could this be interfering? I have also tried re-downloading FTB and that has not helped. I am unsure how to use the Java parameters option. Any help in this matter would be appreciated as my comp. cannot run Minecraft well without an increase in RAM.
Thanks,
Protokohl
EDIT: It seems that I had forgotten I had added in my Environment Variables a maximum Java size of 1gb deleting that solved my issues! YAY
