(I'm not sure if this is the place for it but here goes nothing!)
Introduction:

Do you hate the way damage calculations are carried out in minecraft, the way you work so hard to make a set of diamond armour only to get killed by two splash potions. Or do you play with mods like Ars Magica (Should also stop other unblockable sources the tinkers construct rapier) which adds alot of "armour ignoring spells", that mitigate other mods armours (some of which are very expensive i.e. Quantum armour). If so this might just be the mod for you!

Features:

The mod preforms damage calculations, that depend on the armour an entity (player) is wearing and adjusts the damage value according to the the type of incoming damage. If the damage is a type of Unblockable armour calculations will apply (which involve the number of armour pieces currently worn and the enchantablity of the armour - and its basic protection).

So to be clear: Rapier damage will also be mitigated? Since it's not magic damage (or is it internally?)

Yea Rapier, damage Is mitigated. It's not technically magic damage but I decided to let it undergo armour calculations. I should also clarify that the mod only works for players, so mobs still take full damage from unblockable sources.

Edit: Mitigated as in goes through my damage reduction equation.

Complete rewrite of the mod's code, no more API's required - should be completely self sufficient!

Edit: Also, there is now 100% less pasta, Guaranteed.
