Server Connection Issues

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Details of the issue:
Hi! I'm running a FTB Resurrection server, everything works fine except for one user that can't manage to connect, his client is stuck on connecting and server-side the log shows; /xx.xx.xxx.xxx:53672 lost connection: Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.io.IOException: The received string length is longer than maximum allowed (20 > 16) , his ftb client log shows only "connecting to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" without other errors, how to solve? (he already tried to: force update, change nickname, download server pack and copy mods folder from there)​
