Current launcher has the ability to include private packs which is a pretty good feature though more often than not I find myself experimenting with mods throwing some together, removing some from current packages just to see how it goes or just loading one mod to try it out without others.
It would be great addition for launcher to have support for personal packs where it would load a vanilla client and let user to decide what to add from his local machine. Of course it will be inaccessible for public or private, just a personal package on the local machine for user to experiment or use launcher's abilities to manage their client for their personal usage.
I know for a fact that there are mod loaders out there that will do it and still with a launcher as good as FTB, it would be a great feature to use only one launcher instead of several.
