Honestly, 400-500 might just work but that's gonna be very hard. For what you're looking for I think it would be more around 500-800 :/ but I suggest saving up a little longer! Otherwise I could have a look for some parts in the morning. I'll PM you when it's morning!
Nice, Okay so i suggest around 6 gb or more ram. tb hard drive, Yeah One whole TB sounds like a lot but, it's a desktop, Not a pc. 1 gb cache on your graphics card. And 64-bit. Processor quad core 3.4

Sorry for spamming but I should be able to switch out the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Video Card with the 650 right?
750 Titan is way better than the 650. If you were to go back to 6xx series, get a 660. Its marginally better than the 750 ti
I'd suggest getting the eVGA version of the video card. Most of their cards in that price range come with a free replacement guarantee.
I've had 2 video cards die, one along with a failing power supply and another when I installed a factory defect mainboard. I haven't had to purchase a new video card since 2006-ish.

Just a warning but NEVER bring your laptop somewhere to be fixed. Everyone of my friends that's tried end up with a broken PC ... Waste of money. Just fix any broken things your self
