Nei acts up a lot

It won't search what I type in the bar after hitting enter. Anyone else get this a lot and know how to fix?

Does this persist through rebooting the client? My significant other had the same issue and while we never isolated what caused it, restarting the client fixed the issue well enough and it hasn't recurred since.

Are you using the latest version? How long has this been happening for? Any suspicions? Have you tried what @Wraithflay said? etc.
