hello guys and gals,

i like to introduce myself
i am Ray
i live in the Netherlands
i am 30 years of age

some of my hobbies are:
- codding
- graphic design
- gaming
- cooking
these are some of my hobbies:)



i am a hardcore vanilla player been playing vanilla since the first beta i finally decided to play some mods
i just started it out today with the direwolf20 pack still really confused on how things work i hope some of you guys can give my some tips and how to start of within the modding scene (playing the mods and whats best to start off with as a beginner to mods.

if you have any questions or w/e feel free to post them:)

I can't find any sections dedicated for modding tutorials in this forum.

If you are truly looking for help, Technic has a section dedicated for it. I know a few links that I have bookmarked. This guy is very thorough and gives you the babysteps, his tutorial is 3 years old so don't be too upset when you notice the code he demonstrates there is not up to date with todays MC.
This link is.... well I don't know, I havent had the time to look through it.

Forge wiki gives tutorial aswell, worth a look.

I recall a modder giving youtube tutorials... was it pahimar?

Direwolf20 has a lot of mod spotlights and let's play episodes on his youtube channel. In the latest single-player series he uses the current dw20 pack (who would have thought so :b), so that's a good place to see how mods work ;D
