multimeter redstone energy conduit network saturation?

Does anyone have a better explanation of what this means?

I'm trying to figure out how much MJ is flowing through my conduit, and/or if there is a max amount that can be transfered through a conduit.

Another issue, is I have a redstone energy cell hooked up to output 100mj/tick and it is hooked to a tesseract, the tesseract is only requesting 25/tick even though it's hooked up to 3 quarries.

I think it was bugged...i destoryed the tesseract and readded it and it now requests 100.

It appears that whatever the redstone energy cell is producing when you sit the tesseract down is what it requests..if you c hange the cell the tesseract doesn't request the new amount.
