Details of the issue:

I am on my macbook pro and i've played ftb on my mac before and i re downloaded it but after it finished downloading I launched it but loads of lines rushed through the console and another window opened up then closed again.​

I tired that before i posted this but i had a bit of trouble doing it / couldn't find folders and such Do you have an idea how to do that on a mac

Not really necessary anymore. Just getting the latest 1.6.4 should fix it. Or get this mod

On the launcher go to options then click the force update button, then launch the modpack.

I don't know what happened but I deleted ftb and re downloaded the monster modpack and it worked soo yeah. I did force update at the same time also so that might have been it.
