Misc Peripheral Chunk loader turtle not keeping chunks loaded?

Im running into a weird issue here and even tho I am not using an FTB pack I am using a collection of mods I put together myself I trust the Folks that visit these forums alot so I hope someone can help me out.


I'm Running 1.5.2 Mincraft SMP using Forge 1.5.2-7.8.1.738, Misc peripherals 3.3f, & Computer craft 1.53 ( Full Mod list Below in Spoiler tags )

And for some reason the Chunk loader module for turtles is not working at all.. Its not keeping chunks loaded. Im using it on a mining turtle and tried it on both sides of the turtle even tho that shouldnt matter and even spawned a creative one it and tested that..

When I place the turtle its not keeping the chunks loaded.. If i do /chunkloaders and check out the tickets and active chunks the only chunks loaded are from Spawn and from My character but nothing showing up for the turtle.

I placed down a regular Chicken Chunks loader to see if chunk loaders were working at all and it works just fine but the chunk loader turtle does nothing.

Any ideas what is wrong?

Go into the Forge config file and increase the amount of chunks it will allow to be chunk loaded. The default is 25 iirc and once you go over that chunk loaders start competing with each other to keep chunks loaded.

Just tried that and no luck the Chunkloader turtle still isnt showing up on /chunkloaders and is not keeping chunks loaded.

Any ideas?

Other then uninstalling mods and trying different versiopns im stumped and I have alot of mods installed I really dont want to go through that.

I tihnk I might have figured it out Im using the newest MP version which says in the newest version uses experimental chunk loading and to let him know if your chunk loading breaks. Which mine has so I am going to see if an older version works if not guess im stuck without misc periph

Well I cant seem to find any older 3.3 versions only 3.2.. Anyone know where I can get all the old versions?

Ok looks Like it Fixed it by switching to Mic Peripherals version 3.3c the turtles ticket is showing up now and seems to be keeping chunks loaded.. So for anyone that uses Misc Peripherals the newest version at this time 3.3f has chunk loading issues aka chunk loading doesnt work with it incase you run into the same issue.

It seems that ever since cc changed the chunk loader recipe, it has been broken! Only now it seems to be fixed XD just in time with the adv turtles.
