Migrating to FTB

Hello I am migrating from the Technic/Tekkit community for various reasons that I'd rather no discuss. I decided to move to FTB, because the community seems good and I like the mods. it has in it. I hope to be a long term member of the community and pack .

I do have two questions though...

a. Are there any good tutorials/wikis for those who are new to FTB?
b. How do I reset FTB to all defaults?

as for your questions,

a, there's loads of good tutorials and wikis kicking about.
What mod pack are you using, if you go for the Direwolf pack then watch Direwolf20's videos.
As for wiki's it depends on what you're starting out with.

You could check out the official FTB wiki here:- http://wiki.feed-the-beast.com/index.php?title=Getting_Started_(Main) it's held to a pretty high standard so the information is good.

Also like dc0110 I'm not really sure what you mean by reset to default, but if you mean restore a pack to it's default settings then I believe checking the Force Update in the options tab for a modpack will reset it to default.

As for your questions on mods, yes there are wikis and if you need a thorough tutorial then a Direwolf video is always round the corner.

Welcome to FTB! I think youll find ftb a lot "cleaner" than tekkit. When i played finding support and help was difficult. You will like it here
