The apple support site that's linked in my Knowledgebase article was last modified on Mar 7.
It still works for every other mac user I send it to.

No. As I said (If you wouldve read) That worked before, then apple PERMANENTLY DISABLED JAVA 6 FROM WORKING on their system.
Ill have to use terminal from now. I have an automator program setup to launch it with the terminal, so I guess untill lwjgl is rewritten ima have to do it that way

Do you have an OS update in the appstore that u havent installed? Because I have the latest.

Official forum ! .

"Yes, Apple has killed off Java 6 and 7, current versions, through their Xprotect malware facility.
For 10.6.8 users, the only 'fix' I have that works so far: Deleting the XProtect source file that lists the blacklisted Java (supposedly it can also be edited in Terminal)." - So not only did they block it. Lwjgl broke with java 7 too

If you recently updated your Xprotect, then no, it isn't going to work. You need to allow the downgrade through Xprotect.

Perhaps you have a backup through time machine you can revert to? I agree that if you have the lastest update installed it will not work. If you want to use FTB you must revert to an older version and resist the Java updates that Mac OS throws at you. At least until FTB updates to Java 7 or Apple fixes their Java 6 dependancies (which it doesn't look like they are going to do since it's been blacklisted for "security" reasons).

I also read of a virtual machine "fix". I doubt that is a good solution here though. Since Minecraft likely wouldn't run very good in a virtual environment.

It's not an FTB issue. Apple broke it's LWJGL libraries and functions with Java 7.

Stop being so rude, people were just trying to help.

5 posts ago, you put this:

That in no way says "Hey, I've fixed the issue, you can stop worrying about it now, thanks anyway!"
