logistics pipes or AE?

I see so many people use AE I wonder if anyone uses lp instead/before AE.
I myself uses lp because it gives my base a operational look

Why not have both?

Logistics pipes do not provide storage by themselves. Most commonly, I'll make a small AE system, but pretty much just for storage, or automation of AE stuff(if needbe). I'll then hook the logistics pipes to use the system as storage, and do everything else with LP.

O yeah I almost forgot that it has a heck of a lot compatibility with other mods

I REALLY freaking hate how so many frame the question as an either-or proposition.

The two mods work great together, why the hell do so many think you have to go one way or the other. They work Very well together.

Afaik AE was originally made as an expansion to LP. But I sort of use it the other way around. ME as main network and then LP pasted onto it all over to perform all kinds of "advanced" tasks that ME cannot.
